Description of initiativeDescription of initiative
The Literati book club is designed to break down silos, build camaraderie, comfort, and teamwork around doing diversity, equity, and inclusion work. We want to get comfortable being uncomfortable, and build psychological safety in the team. In addition, we seek to foster our growth mindset and to be a learning organization in which we continuously engage and develop. For our first book, because the author was going to present at the university's Diversity Forum, was White Fragility. The co-organizers chose this book. Future books will be selected by a larger team.
