Description of initiativeDescription of initiative
Schools inflict acts of violence and racism that impact Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Although teachers and school leaders are often engaged in the work of leading antiracist school communities, they do not always have intra- or inter-organizational thought partners nor the platform to amplify their efforts. School leaders need help building anti-racist schools. The Coalition for Leading Anti-Racist Schools is an invitation to educational leaders around the world who are committed to learning, asking questions when they don’t know, and engaging in tough, meaningful conversations focused on equity and anti-racism.
This initiative is on behalf of a registered student organization (RSO)Registered Student Organizations (RSO) are groups or associations that are operated by students at UW-Madison who are registered with the Center for Leadership and Involvement

To support the creation of Racial Justice Action Plans through anti-racist cycles of inquiry focused on discovery, disruption, dismantling, & driving out of existing inequities. We will move from individual analysis to systemic and institutional action in our quest for more equitable & anti-racist educational settings. As part of this process, we are committed to learning, asking questions when we don't know, & engaging in tough, yet meaningful conversations focused on equity & anti-racism.
